Bike Donations

March 2019   Board members from Utah Friends of CASA coordinated the loading and storing of bikes until Utah CASA could distribute them to kids in need. Employees from EVEVA met in Salt Lake City for a team-building event and conference. In a super fun event, the employees built the bikes as a team-building project and then donated them to Utah CASA. 84 16” Bikes donated –  bikes, helmets, and even locks!

CASA Advocate Judy Chidester and Third District CASA Program Coordinator Heather Allen addressed the group of 800 AVEVA employees.  Heather shared details about the CASA program, her experience working with the fabulous dedicated volunteers we have in our program, and what a difference they make in the lives of children.  Judy told of her experience of giving bikes to two children last year and how much the donation of bikes will mean to the kids in our program.
