Split Mountain Youth Center

Six months as a youth counselor.

Washington County Youth Crisis/Detention Center

Twelve years as a part-time youth counselor.

Police Departments in Tooele, UT; SLC, UT; Cedar City, UT; Leadville, CO.

Worked as a law enforcement dispatcher in these jurisdictions.

Accomplishments

Raised five children as a single parent.

Founded Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Utah, St. Geroge, UT in 2003.

CASA volunteer in both St. George and Tooele, UT.

Volunteer mediator for Juvenile Court Restorative Justice.

Active board member of the Friends of CJC both in St. George and Tooele.

Knitted and crocheted baby blankets for Millcreek High School, an Alternative high school in St. George.

Need 4 classes to receive AA in Human Services.

Certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling from University of Utah
